Young 3’s/Tiny Tots – This class begins the first week of October and is designed for children who are 2 on or before April 1st. We offer love and guidance in a war m engaging play/learning environment. We help foster independence as we introduce your child to circle time, sharing, crafts, and assurance that mom and dad will be there to pick us up when our day is through! Children must be in the process of toilet training. There is an AM session or a PM session of this program available. The AM session will meet from 9:15-11:15 or the PM session will meet from 12:15-2:15. This is your child’s first introduction to preschool.
Three Year Olds – Through “hands on” learning centers and an enriched curriculum, we foster social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills. Teachers work with children independently and in small groups throughout the week. The children learn of friendship and sharing and that school is a safe and happy place to be. Your child must turn 3 on or before October 1st to be eligible. We offer a 2-day or a 3-day program. Our AM sessions will meet from 8:30-11:30 or 9:00-11:30; our PM sessions will meet 12:30-3:00.
Pre-K Four Year Olds – Reading readiness, language development, math, science, listening comprehension, alphabet, numbers, fine motor development, social and emotional development are all part of our kindergarten readiness program. Teachers work individually with each child as well as small groups each week. Each day starts with a circle time to introduce the lesson for the day. Your child must turn 4 on or before October 1st to be eligible. We offer 3-day AM/PM sessions and 5-day AM/PM sessions of this program. 3-day AM classes will meet 8:30-11:30 and their PM classes will meet 12:30-3:00. 5-day AM classes will meet 9:00-11:30 and their PM classes will meet 12:30-3:00.
Full Day Pre-K Four Year Olds – This class is designed for the 4 year old who is looking to expand on their school. The curriculum will concentrate on expanded literacy and language activities, math, science, social studies, cooking, Spanish and sign language. Daily individual instruction is provided to each child as well as small group and large group instructional activities. This class includes lunch time and rest time. Children begin each day with circle time where daily lesson is taught. Your child must turn 4 on or before October 1st. This class will meet from 8:30am -1:30pm, Monday – Friday.
Extended Care – Hours are available to children enrolled in our school. A curriculum rich environment with crafts, games, stories and songs is provided throughout each day. The program includes both structured and semi-structured activities led by our Extended Care teachers. You may use Extended Care on a regular basis or on an as needed basis. Your child may use it anytime during the week, no matter what their school schedule is. Extended Care is offered daily from 7:45am-4:30pm, $6 per hour. A $100 deposit is required for all regular users.
